I am a member of the Richmond Association of Realtors. I received an e-mail from them the other day and it had a link to their real estate blogsite (www.richmondrapport.com ). There are several posts by Matt Barber who is a real estate appraiser. He writes on news of what is going on in Central Virginia regarding changes in government policies,affordable housing,conservation easements,cash proffers,commercial real estate and more.
